Khai Kandles is a small business based in North Carolina that was established in 2018 from the love of great aromas and the desire to create cost-effective self-care & mood-enhancing vibes for the home.

The Hebrew word Khai (חַי) means “alive” or “living” and as the name implies, Khai Kandles brings spaces alive with dancing flames, colorful & vibrant labels, and deliciously aromatic fragrances. Whether you’d like to relax & unwind with calming scents like lavender or peppermint & eucalyptus, escape to paradise with Jamaica Me Crazy, or transform your space into grandma’s kitchen with Lemon Pound Cake – Khai Kandles has a fragrance for every mood & a candle for every room!

100% Natural Soy Wax

All candles are made with 100% natural soy wax that is produced from US-grown soybeans. Soy wax is a safer form of wax because it is derived from a vegetable (soybean) and produces less soot and toxic chemicals than other wax forms. It is also biodegradable and cleans up easily with soap and warm water.

Beautifully Packaged

Not only do these candles smell great, they are also wrapped with a beautiful vibrant label that adds personality and warmth to your home decor. Each scent has its own unique, eye-catching label wrap that ties in with the fragrance and candle color! A light layer of mica powder is also on your candle surface to give it a splash of sparkle.

Truly Handmade

All candles & wax melts are whipped up, hand-poured, and labeled by me in my crafty in-home candle space. I take special care to ensure all candles & melts are stirred and poured at the perfect temperature to give all products a great scent throw.

Khai Kandles’ Scents

Essential oil-infused fragrance oils are used in all products and are free of toxins, phthalates & cancer-causing agents. They are added with care to small – batch candles at the perfect temperature giving each product a great hot & cold scent throw.

Founder Bio

Hi! My name is Danyah Naftali and I am the founder/owner of Khai Kandles. I am a North Carolina State University graduate (Go Wolfpack!) with a degree in Business Management. I’m also a loving wife and a mother of 4 young boys that keep me busy. My appreciation for yummy aromas manifested into candle-making in 2018 – I loved it so much (and received such great feedback) that I decided to do it professionally! I truly enjoy zoning out in my home candle space, surrounded by good vibes (and even better smells), creating mood-enhancing experiences for my customers.

As my business name represents (Khai (חַי) meaning alive/living), I truly believe in living a fulfilling life & creating positive, healthy, feel-good spaces. Aside from making candles, I love to laugh & listen to good music. I also enjoy traveling & spending time/creating memories with friends & family!
