Unlike candles, wax melts to not evaporate. Once the scent dissipates, you can remove & discard the used wax and try a new scent.  Old wax can be removed from warmer by

1) using cotton balls to absorb wax; wipe up excess wax with paper towel. 

2) Allow wax to harden, then turn on warmer for several minutes to soften/loosen wax at the bottom.  Wax can then be removed easily as a solid block.

Please use caution when handling hot wax!
